Mobile is the future; responsive websites, applications and whatever else the digital world has to throw at us.

So, how is your mobile strategy coming on?

According to research carried out by Incite, 96% of marketers say that a mobile strategy is vital to the success of an organisation.

But why is it so important?

The digital world is ever growing and more and more users are turning to mobile devices to get their regular fixes. iPhones, Android handsets, iPads and other tablets are increasingly becoming more and more necessary in todays society. That’s why it’s so important.

When individuals where asked how important they thought having a mobile strategy would be next year, they said:

52.35% Critical
44.71% Important
2.94% Unimportant

Those figures should appear startling to an organisation that doesn’t think mobile has any value to them.

If your website doesn’t respond to the needs of a mobile device, then you may as well say goodbye to customer retention.

Apps also help to complement traditional websites, and account for a large proportion of activity undertaken via mobile devices.

According to Mashablesmartphone penetration rates as high as 74%.

Your customer base is becoming more digital, so why aren’t you?
